Members shared their brags and sags. New members and visitors were introduced.

AWG contests are usually from July to January, and then we gear up for the summer contest. Since Tess Gerritsen is coming in October, the big contest will be July 1-31. For February through April, we will have poetry contests. Yvonne Nunn is in charge, and explained rules of the contests.
All members must get suggested By-Laws revisions in writing to a Board member by the February Board meeting.
President Rollins announced a Spring workshop. The cost will be $25.00 for those not wishing to join the Guild. For AWG members who pay their 2004-2005 dues, the workshop is free. It is scheduled for April 24 at the Center for Contemporary Arts.
Members were encouraged to volunteer to bring refreshments, but they need not be fancy. Drinks, chips and dips are sufficient.
Steve Mild, chief investigator for the Tom Green County Sheriff's Department, presented a program on crime scene evidence. He showed slides from actual crime scenes and explained how to read a crime scene.
The meeting was adjourned and members enjoyed refreshments provided by Mary Craig, Nancy Masters and Jan Carrington.
Respectfully submitted,
