Abilene Writers Guild Meeting Minutes

October 24, 2002
President Rollins called the meeting to order. The minutes were approved.
Treasurer Gail McMillan reported a balance of $2,035.64. The Kathryn Lay workshop cost $8.61; $365.00 in receipts from 24 attendees and expenses of $373.61.
Ginny Greene announced we have 93 members.
Members shared brags and sags. Visitors were introduced.
Nancy Robinson Masters announced 11 entries in the monthly contest. Winners were:

3rd Lynn Davidson, Chocolate a Royal Drink.
Sarah Mulkey presented the program and sang her original compositions. She discussed her difficulties in finding a market for her music, and talked about how she is inspired to write.
Refreshments were served and enjoyed, and the meeting adjourned.
