The Abilene Writers Guild has served writers of West Texas since 1969 — professional and beginning alike — meeting monthly for education, sharing, and encouragement.
The Guild runs on its members: a volunteer board, a member-edited newsletter, judges and speakers who give their time, and a room that has been welcoming visitors for over fifty years.
